Update

Elevator upgrade: is the process of upgrading important parts of the elevator in order to be able to handle new technology, deliver better performance, improve safety, and even give smoothness to movement and downtime

Most of the lifts are built to provide about 20 years of service, and maintenance and periodic inspections are carried out by the manufacturer, a complete elevator repair may be proposed for building owners.

The typical update consists of control equipment, electrical wiring and buttons, site indicators and steering arrows, lifting machines and motors (including door operators). Cranes, rails or other heavy structures are rarely changed.
